Blue Kettle Giclee Print...
A small painting that was done specifically for reproduction. I enjoy playing with the paint and finding ways to further express myself.

I’ve ventured out into the Giclee world, believing that this might be the right time to promote – market some of my paintings. This particular painting has had a positive response and the prints are reasonably priced. Of course I am willing to sell the original if anyone is interest.
I am going through all of my work and pulling the ones that I feel will work well as prints.I will post one or more of them each week, along with any original painting that I’m able to complete.
The prints will come in a few different sizes along with a satisfaction guarantee from the printer. The first print offered here is “Landies Lounge”.
I’ve also updated my Gallery site. I was surprised how colorful the painting are when they are all together.
I’ve been working on redoing my gallery site, updating the painting and hopefully making them easier to view. Take a look and let me know your thoughts = Bobmartin-art.com/Gallery
I’ve also started to create with “Fineartamerica” some Giclee prints for sale . Here again I would appreciate your thoughts and experience you’ve had with Fine Art America
One of the stuffed animal I used to keep in my studio who also enjoyed a bottle of good wine. Had to keep him smiling.
Working as hard as ever and getting creative with the paint that I have remaining. Need to head into Tempe and get some stuff.
My painting will be up at the Breadfruit for another month which is good. I like them (the paintings) but I much prefer
that someone else falls in love with them and wants to take them home
I will also being a couple of charity events between now and the 15th of next month, I will post particulars later this week.
The best way to get known is to keep working and showing as often as you. I, like a lot of other artist get trapped
sometimes thinking that we are going to get discovered. But that not likely if the only place people can see what your work is in your studio or even worst in your mind. I don’t have anything booked for February, but I putting out there and continue to work in preparations.

I will not be able to be there, but maybe the next time. Stop by if you are in the area.
The goal with this painting as I went along was to find a way to knit the painting together with a architecturally structure and to give more body to figures in the foreground.
I’ve muted the colors by laying on a dull green wash, which gets rubbed out or painted into. What is not visible now is that I painted in 5 lines that run from the low left to high right of the painting with each area painted with a slightly different of yellow paint. Right now they are just guides.
Eventually the figure to right will more into the background. I’ve not decided how I will do this but that’s how it is with goals.
